Hi Prayer Partners & friends,
The last two days have been filled with hard work at our Mission Service
Project ( laying the foundation and building concrete block walls for a
new church Worship Center.
While so important to our mission here in Quito, the most important work
has been that of God´s Holy Spirit working in our hearts in precious ways.
We have had missionaries working in Quito come and share their
responsibilities each evening. Missionaries from HCJB Global Radio, Book
of Hope and an indiginious Indian come and share his faith journey to
peace with Christ. Each story and experience has touched our lives in
deep ways.
Today the team is working and visiting with a local pastor and his wife in
Quito. They have a stong ministry with children. Sight seeing and
serving meals to poor families tomorrow and Sunday worship and rest well
deserved.
While we are here in Quito, our team has prayed for another team traveling
to Gulfport, MS to serve the Lord and the victims of Katrina.
Please pray fro our Project Leader Ken McCarty as he leads this team and
will file ministry reports along the way as time allows.
Our students and leaders with us in Quito are experiencing the power and
awesomeness of God as they see and hear and learn of God´s presence and
Kingdom building in another culture. Oh, the our USA Church would have
the desire for God that we see and observe here in South America !
Our faith walk and commitment to walking with Jesus is being challenged in
very deep ways..no condemnation...only "next step faith" actions....GLORY
!!!! We come to Quito as LEARNERS / SËRVANTS and FAITH STORY-TELLERS.
We pray that from our Mission Service Teams that God would call many to
active Christian faith living and serving far away and right at
home...Glory !
From experiencing God in Quito, Ecuador...God bless you and Keep you and
grant you peace !!!!!

Day 2 began with a Christian Testimony sharing time...our Ecuadorian hosts told us their amazing and inspiring faith-stories that touched all of our hearts. The sharing and prayer time actually last for an extended period.
Yes, God still moves !!!!
Following thihs meeting we got to work. Mixing concrete and laying block and leveling the ground for Pastor Fabian's new rural mission worship center
Tonight, we will treat our team to Pizza Hut Pizza...Quito style.
We will have as our guest, at our team's sharing meeting, Allen Graham from HCJB Global Radio. Allen has almost 30 years in Radio missions and will challenge our team to be open to God's call for any area of service...glory !!!
One member of our team has a serious tooth ache. We have scheduled an appointment with an American trained, Ecuadorian Dentist...who serve much of the US Missionary delegation here in Quito. Pray the Dentist will heal
the pain this young man is experiencing.
Keep us in your prayers. Great meetings and very hard service project work today. The team is struggling to work as hard as the Ecuadorian women...it's a high altitude thing for our team...but fun to watch and be involed in Christ work in a far away land.
Glory from Quito !!!!!!
Dave
