Hazel Green, KY


Neighborly, friendly and located…on the way to somewhere, Hazel Green has been our host community for nearly 15 years. Not much ever changes in Wolfe County, and that’s just fine with almost every one.  We do light reconstruction, painting, roof repair, and anything else we can do for the friendliest people in historic Eastern Kentucky…just 1 ½ hours from Lexington.

Typical Day
We begin the day with a Power-Up meeting 15 minutes prior to breakfast.  We eat and have a  Personal Time With God.  Then, it's off to work (9 am – 4:30 pm) then, back to our lodging location for showers, free time and dinner.  Each evening you conduct a meeting of debriefing the day, singing, scripture,  and a challenge from God's Word.

Type of Work/Things to Bring
Painting and light carpentry… paint-up, clean-up and fix-up type projects

Bring work gloves, medical face masks, tennis or work shoes.

Bring old clothes for work and a change of casual clothes for church and eating out.

Time Off
We will take some time off work to  visit area attractions and places of cultural interest.
