IMH / Impact Missions Core Values


Our core values determine who we are and how we conduct our ministry.  These guiding principles form our foundation of ministry and allow you to know about our ministry expectations as we serve Christ and His church.
Christ-centered:   We are Christ-followers.  Each of our staff and volunteers have dedicated our lives to follow Christ’s teachings.

 
Prayer-focused:  Before serving, Jesus taught us always to pray.  Prayer is our best means of service preparation.  Without His leading and direction, we offer only what man can offer.  We desire to be prepared and directed for mission service by God’s Holy Spirit and offer those we serve the life- changing opportunities of the gospel.


Partnering with Churches and ministries:  We serve at the invitation of churches and local community leaders.  Our mission teams serve under local leadership.


Faith-filled Endeavors:  William Carey stated, “Attempt great things and accomplish great things for Christ”.  In Christ, we seek to honor Him through our work and witness, with a display of great faith” which pleases Him.

Discovery & Learning:  God, by His Holy Spirit, has gifted each one of His followers.  As we serve Him, we discover and use particular gifts and talents and abilities to further His Kingdom work.  This is a learning and discovery process and we are always amazed at how God works.

Generosity:  We give without expectation for any payback.  We seek to lay up treasures in heaven, not for the sake of “good works”, but as a living testimony of God’s love and grace.

Compassion:  We want to see people and opportunities from Jesus point of view.  He was moved with compassion as he saw people without a Shepherd.  We desire to be a light for Christ through our compassion serving and giving and praying.

Wise Stewardship:  God’s resources must be well managed and cared for. We will not be ungrateful, wasteful nor neglectful of God’s resources of support, materials or opportunities.
